Recently, the results for the second batch of "Fuding Time-Honored Brands" were officially announced. Fuding Tongshun Tai Tea Industry Co., Ltd. (registered trademark: Tongshun Tai), located at ** on Bailin Ancient Tea Street, was successfully selected and awarded the "Fuding Time-Honored Brand" title. This official recognition affirms the company's century-plus legacy in tea craftsmanship, its rich historical heritage, and its innovative practices in cultural tourism.

Tongshuntai was founded in the 11th year of Guangxu (Year 1885) and is rooted in Bailin Old Street. From the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China era, Bailin served as a major hub for tea trade in eastern Fujian. The old street hosted 36 tea houses, with Tongshuntai standing out as a key exporter of Fuding white tea and Bailin Gongfu black tea. These teas traveled along the maritime tea route to Southeast Asia, witnessing the prosperity of modern foreign tea trade in Fuding. Over time, the business went quiet, but descendants preserved the original site following the principle of restoring old structures as they were. Authentic items such as the vintage signboard, old account books, and Republic-era tea posters have been carefully maintained. After a century of silence, this historic tea house has reopened its doors.
